The housing boom in Greater Las Vegas Valley (Summerlin, North Las Vegas, Lake Las Vegas, Henderson, Green Valley, Downtown, Mountain's Edge, Southern Highlands and the Strip) made converting apartments to condo conversions feasible. Condo builders buy condo mapped apartment projects (each condo/apartment has a different title and could be sold individually), and improve them in some form (usually new paint, carpet and cabinets ) and then sell them individually. These units are usually between 7 to 30 years old. Diligence is required in purchasing these units since the builder may not have upgraded plumbing, electric or air conditioning units in these condos, The structure is aged.
